The Bilbao association was founded in 2010 by 35 Colombian agribusiness technologists who decided to pool their resources and knowledge to enhance their coffee production and income. One of the biggest benefits has been that from the get-go, members have been able to access loans for fertilizers and other inputs, through paying into a revolving fund through monthly payments. Today Bilbao consists of 44 members, 26 of whom contributed to this lot.
